There is a single terminal building located on Airport Street. Suceava Airport is located 12 km east of Suceava, in the satellite town of Salcea, some 25 minutes away from the city centre by car. Driving south on road 290A, also known as Airport Street, you should reach the E58 in under 5 minutes. From then on, head west toward the city, driving through the Cuza Vodă district. Then follow route 29A/Calea Unirii over the River Suceava and toward the city centre.

A car or van hire in Suceava Airport brings you to the doorstep of the region known historically as Bukovina. From here, it’s an hour’s drive 50 km north on the E85 toward the border with Ukraine in Siret. Bucharest is about 450 km away in the opposite direction or about a 7-hour drive south. Alternatively, via the E58 route between Austria and Ukraine, drivers can reach the picturesque Carpathians, as well as the towns of Gura Humorului and Voroneț, within an hour.

Suceava Airport serves Northeastern Romania and provides both domestic and international air travel to over 700,000 passengers annually. Boarding one of several weekly internal flights from Suceava, you can reach the capital, Bucharest, in just over an hour. In the summer, there is also a weekly flight to the seaside city of Constanta.
