Renting a Car at Bath

Bath Car & Van Hire

Bath is one of the most visited cities in England, and you only have to go once to understand why. The gracious Georgian architecture of the Royal Crescent and the beautifully preserved Roman baths that gave the town its name, are must-see sights. So why not avoid a long drive, hop on a train, then hire a car in Bath?

Enterprise Car Rental is just two miles from Bath Spa railway station and less than a mile from Oldfield Park station. Offering a wide range of vehicle sizes and classes, you'll find the right car to suit your needs whether you're travelling alone, or with a group.

Enterprise also do van hire, from large 20m3 vans with tail lifts that are ideal for house moves or professional use, to smaller vans for transporting bulky items like washing machines and mattresses.

Visiting Bath and the Area

Because of the cost and scarcity of places to stay in the centre, many people choose to stay outside Bath and drive in to visit. After a day of shopping and seeing the sights or, if you're there on the last Sunday of the month, browsing Bath's Vintage and Antique's market, it's great to be able to jump in your hire car and drive home. Bath is quite well served with car parks, you can find a full list on the local council website and on-street parking is free all-day Sunday.

Things to do Near Bath

While you're in the area, or even if you live locally and don't have a car, you may want to visit some of the many National Trust sites within easy driving distance of Bath. You can also do the Bath skyline walk, a 6-mile loop with spectacular views of the city. There's also the very pretty Cotswolds village of Castle Coombe that, at just 17 miles from Bath, is the perfect place for a picturesque day out.
