Renting a Car at Penzance

Penzance Car & Van Hire

If you're heading to Penzance for a holiday, why not avoid a long drive, hop on the train and rent a car when you arrive, so you still have the freedom to get around and explore the area?

The Enterprise Car Rental branch in Penzance is just a 14-minute direct bus ride from the station and we can even come and pick you up if that is easier. In fact, our car rental branch is right next to Long Rock beach, so you can go for a dip once you've collected your car and get your holiday started sooner.  Or maybe you're looking for something a bit larger than a car? Enterprise has a wide range of people carriers, SUVs and vans right up to a 20m3 Luton van for house moves or commercial purposes.

Visiting Penzance and the Area

Penzance has become the place to go in West Cornwall, with boutique hotels, fine dining restaurants and a burgeoning art scene. Not to mention the stunning views of St Michael's Mount and the sandy beaches within easy driving distance.

Heading to the Beach

Porthcurno beach is just half an hour away, but you'll feel like you've been transported to the Caribbean, with its soft white sand and deep blue water, the perfect place to spend a sunny day.

On the way back, why not stop off in Mousehole for a seafood supper? This traditional Cornish fishing village is brimming with charm and picturesque narrow streets, though you may want to park outside the town and walk in as the streets are not very car friendly.

Things to do near Penzance

If the weather isn't good enough for a day on the beach you can visit the Polgoon vineyard and orchard, just outside Penzance or drive over to Mazarion and walk across the causeway to St Michael's Mount. Do check the tides first though as the causeway is only accessible at low tide.
