Driving Information in Plymouth

The A386 is a short drive from the branch and links the city centre with the Devon Expressway, which forms part of the A38. The A38 runs between the A30 to the west of Plymouth and Junction 29 of the M5 motorway to the east. Exeter Airport is less than an hour away. When exploring rural routes in Devon, drive cautiously and keep an eye out for wildlife. Roads in the region’s national parks and scenic countryside are often narrow, so extra attention is needed when sharing the road with other road users, including walkers and cyclists.
